Steve, Danielle and Baby Addison were there. Kenna had fun helping the other girls open their gifts. Thanks Brad and Jan for all of our fun things!!!

Getting ready to go in

On Friday, Dec. 18, we went to Disneyland. I love Disneyland. I love it, I love it, I love it. I have never been at Christmas time and was excited to see it all decorated. My mom, sister, the girls and I all went. My sister had a test at school so we had to wait till after 2nd period to pick her up. We got to D-Land about 10am. Disneyland opened around 8am so we thought it would be busy. CA Disney opened at 10am so we went there first to get on all the rides without a wait. My sister's friend's mom works at D-Land and got us 2 tickets to get in. My mom had some really old tickets...probably about 45 years old. It was like $5.75 to get into the park and there were individual tickets to get into each ride. We tried to use them. The ticket office spent about 10 minutes on the phone with a manager. They then told us that we could go to the gate and we would be let in. How crazy is that?! The ticket guy was astonished that we had tickets that were that old. On our way to the gate a worker heard us say we had old tickets. He came over and told us he could switch our tickets out for park-hopper passes. He signed us in because he wanted our old tickets.
We went to CA Disney and walked right onto Hollywood Tower of Terror. It was a lot of fun. Then we on the roller coaster, ferris wheel, Bugs Life rides, Merry-go-Round, and a whole lot of other rides with hardly any wait. It was so nice. So around 3pm we went over to Disneyland. We waited about 1.5 hours in line to see the princesses and take pictures. Kenna was so excited. My sister and Kenna got their face painted. We went over to see Tiana, the new princess, but her line was already closed. We spent some time in Toon Town. D-Land was soooo packed. It was ridiculous. We went on the jungle cruise and went into the Tiki room and that was about it, besides Toon Town rides. We left the park around 8pm. The girls behaved so well. We didn't loose Makenna this time :). I loved it. Thanks mom for taking us!!!

Balancing

Bryn walks around everything we have in the house. She pulls herself up on everything and even climbs over a few things. But when it comes to walking...she won't do it. I am ready for her to learn how to walk. It's hard because Kenna was walking at 12 months, so you think Bryn should too. I do know that every child is different. The dr. told us not to worry as well because walking is a 12-15 month process. She did make an improvement today though. While we were at church today standing in the hall she pulled herself up and stood against the wall. She then let go and balanced herself for about 30 seconds and then held back on the wall and then did it again. That is a big move for her because she would never let go and if by chance she did it would only be for about a 1/2 a second. I started clapping for her and said good job Bryn and she started clapping too! Good job Bryn!

Kenna's Christmas Program

Walking in

Bryn was cheesin' it! She was dancing to all of the music. It was really cute.

Makenna and her class
Bryn and Kenna. Bryn would not look at the camera. This is the closest I got to her looking at the camera.
The girls and I

Kenna had her school Christmas program last night. It was short and sweet. Each class sang 2 songs. Kenna sang pretty well. For the finale, they sang her favorite song from school. But they had dancing angels on stage while they sang. I was excited to hear Kenna sing really loud because she liked the song so much. But she turned around and looked at the angels most of the time. What a booger! haha. At least she looked cute!

Santa

I took the girls down to Bass Pro Shop this year to see Santa. You get a free picture. As you can tell...Bryn hated Santa. She was so mad. Makenna was trying to put her hand on Bryn and Bryn pushed her away. Kenna told Santa she wanted a wedding Barbie for Christmas. She was so excited to see him. Maybe Bryn will like him a little more next year!

Busy

My grandma informed me tonight that I have not been keeping up on my blog. Seems like we have just been on the go. Makenna had her Christmas Program at school tonight. It went well. Tyler has been consumed, literally, with finals for the past few weeks. Thank goodness they end on Tuesday. The girls and I are getting ready to go on vacation to see my family. Tyler will join us a few days later.
Brynlee had a dr.'s appt yesterday with the Hand Dr. He said she is healing great and is doing exactly what she should be. He told us to continue to encourage her to use her right hand. He handed her a pen and she grabbed it, lightly, with her thumb and index finger. The dr. was excited to see that and so was I. When he went to take back the pen, she wouldn't let it go and she screamed at him. So he told her that she could keep it. haha...guess we have a new pen! The PT says she is doing well and has said she can see progress in the few short weeks we have gone. Her last PT appt. is Tuesday.
The girls and I have been trying to find things to do to stay busy while Tyler is gone. We enjoy coloring, watching movies and making goodies. We have spent a lot of time with Jen, Ryder and Cash. We have also been trying to get things ready for Christmas. When I get some time in the next few days I will post the latest pictures and hopefully finally put up our picture with Santa!
