Fussy when he woke up, but took a bottle and started to settle down.
Logan has had an ear infection in his left ear pretty much since June. He would be on an antibiotic and within two days of being off of it, he would get another ear infection. He was on about 5 different antibiotics. We had to be at the surgery center at 6am. His surgery was schedule for 7am. He couldn't eat. He was asleep until they wanted to weigh him around 6:20am. He woke up and did pretty well until about 6:45. He got pretty fussy. They took him back around 7:15 and the doc was out talking to us about 7:24. It was a quick procedure and Logan seemed to handle it well. He was fussy until about 9am and then went back to his normal self. We are hoping the tubes stop all the infections.
Logan will be 5 months old tomorrow. I can't believe it. He is eating 5oz every bottle. He goes to bed around 8 or 9 and depending on the night, will sleep until 1or 2 or 4 or 5. :) Sometimes he eats and goes right back to sleep and sometimes he stays awake. He is now taking a probiotic along with the axid and magnesium. Today he had a great day. He slept from 9:30 last night until 6 this morning. He was happy majority of the day and even ate some baby food. The first time we tried baby food, a few weeks ago, he was not a fan. Tonight he ate some prunes and oatmeal and really enjoyed it. He is scooting around in circles. He now rolls over from front to back and back to front. He loves to stand in his walker. He laughs a lot, especially with Bryn. She can get him to laugh a lot. He loves his momma. He is such a mommas boy. He loves to play with his bee and a set of keys Tyler gave him. Makenna is ending her second grade year. Next week is the last day of school. She is reading like a pro. She started piano lessons a couple of weeks ago. My good friend Leslie comes to our house once a week for 30mins to teach her. She loves it. She has been going to activity day girls. She loves church and reading her scriptures. She loves to be social. She is a great big sister and very helpful. She loves to ride her bike, play the piano, make elastic bracelets, play soccer and watch tv. She just finished a season of soccer and she did awesome. She improved a lot over the past season. I'm so proud of her.
Brynlee is ending her pre-k year. I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten next year! ALL DAY :) !!!
She loves her little brother. Bryn can get him to laugh the most. She is so caring and loving. Her teachers at school can't say enough good things about her, which makes me a happy momma. She loves to go out to lunch and playing with her friends. She loves jumping on the trampoline, riding her scooter, watching movies on the ipad with mom and dancing. She has so much energy. She is my sweet/sour child. She can be the sweetest child and then turn in to a grouch.
I hope to catch up on blog posts soon. I can't believe I have neglected it so much. Summer starts next week and maybe I can take some time to update.
We switched pediatricians. I love our previous pediatrician, but I keep feeling like there is something more going on with Logan. So a little while back, I took him to the ped. my best friend works for. I have heard great things about her for years and went to her for a second opinion. She confirmed the feeling I had had for awhile, that Logan had acid reflux. I couldn't go back to our ped. because I didn't want to admit to him that I went for a second opinion. He really has been a great dr. Anyways, at Logan's 4 month check his
Weight 14 lbs. 14oz (50%)

Haha....so like Makenna, he has a large head. He is still taking axid (acid reflux meds). The dr. prescribed magnesium to help him to to the bathroom. He had shots again and did awesome. He is growing like a weed. He is still a super fussy baby. I love him and he is so cute, but he is super fussy.
Makenna was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Feb. 8, 2014. I'm so proud of my little girl. She has grown up into a beautiful young girl. She is so smart. I was so happy that she could spend this special with most of both of our families. My whole family, except my older brother, will able to fly out. My mom's parents came as well. We had a great weekend. We enjoyed a pizza dinner with all our family after the baptism. I'm so proud of Kenna.
