Kenna and I

Last week the girls and I headed out to a pumpkin patch with the Jeffries Family. Jenn and I started the tradition last year of going. The kids enjoyed it. They got to go on a pony ride, pet llamas and goats, ride on a tractor trailer, run through a wheat maze and wooden maze, go down a big slide, play games in the barn and pick a pumpkin. We sure had a good time. Tyler had to work so we met up with him after for dinner.

Visit

 Christy and the girls
The 'Thomas' girls

While my parents were visiting we watched the BYU vs. Utah State football. It was an awesome game. We all had our BYU gear on. It was fun. We also went to Teds, Texas Roadhouse and Pops while they visited. The girls loved having Aunt Tisty and grammy and Papa visit.

Tied Her Shoes

My parents and sister came to visit September 29-October 3rd. They left on a Monday afternoon. Makenna really wanted to wear her new tennis shoes that tie up on Tuesday. I laid them out on her floor with the laces untied so they would be easy for her to slip on and then I could tie them. When I went in Tuesday morning to get her, she was dressed and said, "mom...You don't have to tie my shoes. I did it." I looked down and much to my surprise...she did! I asked how she learned how to do it and she said her Papa Barry taught her how to do it. She did a really good job! Thanks dad for teaching Kenna how to tie her shoes!

Bryn had lazy eye surgery on September 29. We went in at 7:45am for her surgery at 8:45am. It was outpatient surgery. She looked so cute in her gown. She had no idea she was having surgery. She was up and happy and playing in the waiting room. She did great when the nurse took her back. The surgery took  an hour and 10 minutes. She did amazing coming out of surgery, but with that said, this was her hardest surgery. She cried a little bit and was irritated. She wanted me to hold her and I loved being able to comfort her. Her eyes were really puffy and for the most part she wanted to sleep. She came home and just laid around with us. That night she was up jumping around and being her normal crazy self. She is so amazing!!!

Money

Last week Tyler's mom took Bryn on a date. Bryn came home with a small purple piggy bank. Jan gave her a few coins to put in it. Ever since Bryn has been putting the money in and taking the money out. She is obsessed with money. It is really cute.
