Bryn had her spring music program for school on April 23, 2013. Her class performed a few songs. Bryn knew most of the words and did a great job. She was so cute up on stage. I love going to their programs.

Makenna had a school program for 1st grade on March 7, 2013. The program was titled, 'Out of the Box.' Each class had a theme. Makenna's class theme was Pirates. She looked so cute in her pirate outfit. She sung her heart out and loved it. Grammie and Papa Larsen were able to come watch. She was very happy. We went to ice cream afterward to celebrate her success in the program. I love my little girl!

Easter Dresses

I love my girls so much. I think they look like princesses in their Easter dresses!

The girls woke up to their Easter baskets and hidden eggs from the Easter bunny. I made German pancakes for breakfast. Then we got ready and headed to Church. After church went came home to change and headed over to the Jeffries for Easter dinner. It has become an annual event. We decided to forego the normal ham and potato dinner and grill. We had yummy streaks, broccoli, roasted potatoes, asparagus, fruit and bread. It was super good. Then the kids had their egg hunt outdoors. They love running around and finding the eggs. Tyler's mom was in Ohio visiting her other grandkids, so Tyler's dad joined us for dinner. We had a great Easter!

Easter Egg Dying

This year, the girls and I tried a new way to dye eggs. Thanks to pinterest, we dyed eggs in shaving cream. You were supposed to put a few drops of food coloring into shaving cream and swirl it with a toothpick. The eggs didn't turn out as pretty as pinterest, but they looked kinda cool with the tye dye effect. The girls had a ton of fun playing in the shaving cream.
