On Monday, My mom, sister, the girls and I went to the beach. We stayed for about 3 hrs. It was warm with a lot of wind. Makenna loved rolling around and playing in the sand. Bryn hated the sand and didn't want to be put down. She had a good time eating on the my mom's lap. I love the beach!

My mom and I went to Wal-Mart and bought the girls a little pool to swim in. Kenna loves using the hose to fill it up and then wades around in it. It is perfect because both of the girls can play in it and I don't have to get in the pool with them. They sure are enjoying playing outside! It isn't as hot and sticky as playing outside at home!

Elementary Reunion

These girls and I started kindergarten together. Britt came a little later, 2nd grade. But we all were in the same classes in Elementary (for the most part), went to jr. high and were in pageantry together. We went to the same high school and graduated together! Now we are 'all grown up'! It was so fun to get together and catch up. These are such great girls and it is awesome we are still friends! We have been friends for about 20 years!

Lately

Since Disneyland...we have been hanging out. Thursday we went to my grandparents house to help them clean some things and ate pizza. Friday Makenna and I went with my brothers and sister to see 'Despicable Me'. I really liked it. I thought it was funny. "Lightbulb." Saturday was spent hanging out with my brothers and going to the store. Sunday we went to church and then over to my friends house. Her daughter was baptized and we went over to see her and her family. Yesterday we went to the beach with my sister and mom. It was sunny, but a little cool. Makenna loved it. She had fun playing in the sand, being buried in the sand and making sand castles. Bryn on the other hated the sand. The kid would not put her feet in it and if she accidentally got some sand on her foot she would start wiping it off. Whenever we tried to put her down she would go into the splits trying to keep her feet off the sand. The good thing was we didn't have to chase her around the beach because she just sat on the blanket! Although I kept sunscreen on...I still fried. The girls didn't though. So that is good! Today we are off to the store and my sis's volleyball game tonight!

Disneyland

Today we got to go to Disneyland with my mom, sis, 2 of my brothers, the 2 girls and our friend Jayci. We got there around 10am and left at 9pm. We started off the day at CA Adventure. We went on Hollywood Tower of Terror. Makenna actually went on it with my sis and me! She was scared during it, but thought it was cool. Then we went over to the carousel, the swings and then over Soarin over CA. Makenna went on Soarin' and loved it. After that we went on over to Disneyland. Once over there we got lunch and headed over to visit the Princesses. We got to see Belle, Jasmine and Tiana. Then we went to the Princess Show and Makenna learned how to become a 'real' princess. She went down to the floor all by herself. She did awesome. After that we went to Pirates of the Caribbean and then over to Big Thunder Mountain. We got to the front of the line and were the next to get and they shut it down. There had been an earthquake, which none of us felt, but rides had to be shut down and inspected before regular activity could resume. Makenna started crying because she wanted to ride 'the big train'. So while the rides were shut we took Kenna to get her face painted then headed back to Big Thunder Mountain. It finally opened and Kenna went on it twice. We went back to Pirates to ride it together. Then we headed back over to CA Adventure. We went to the Bug's Life play area and went on the LadyBug Teacups and Hemlich's Chew Chew Train, then over to the Bug's Life Show. Then we headed home! The girls had a great time and are extremely exhausted. I will add some more pictures later.

The girls and I arrived in Utah late Wednesday night. Thursday we hung out with family and drove up to Park City and ate lunch. It was fun hanging out with my brothers and sister. My sister and I rode the zipline in Park City. Friday we went shopping then went to grandma's house to visit the cousins. Saturday we had a big BBQ with all the fam! Makenna had a great time hanging out with my cousin Collin (he is 4 yrs old too). They became great friends. Makenna even says Collin is her new b/f. haha! He even kissed her during the fireworks! I told her that there is 'no relations with the relations!' haha!!! Saturday night my sister, aunt, mom, 2 cousins and maddi all went to the Stadium of Fire. Carrie Underwood was awesome. There was also a firework malfunction and a few people caught on fire. It was pretty crazy.

Sunday my parents, sister, 3 bros, the girls and I drove from UT to CA. Yesterday we had a BBQ with my grandparents, went shopping and my bros, dad, sis and I went to see the movie Grown-ups. We are having a good time and the girls are doing really well. I will post some pictures later!
