This was Makenna's first Halloween! We went up to Tyler's hospital and saw his co-workers and went to a few friends houses. Then we went to Grammy Larsen's house. Makenna go to eat 2 suckers and also got some chocolate and oreos for halloween. She was the cutest little monkey.

My New Word!!

I have a new word that I like to say all the time...Can you guess what it is??? Oh Okay...I will tell you... it's "TICKLE!" No I am not lying... I can say the word tickle. I go around saying it all the time. Mom and Dad are trying to teach me new words all the time. I say Ma and Da every once in awhile!! I sure am growing up. I just turned 10 months old yesterday!

My Birthday!

Tyler made me a yummy birthday cake. He surprised me with it when I got home from work and sang me Happy Birthday!

I had the best birthday! It was my first birthday as a mom. We didn't do anything because I had to work all day...but...My friend from work...Katie...brought me donuts that morning! Tyler got us food for lunch. Tyler surprised me with a cake and a gift cert. for a massage. I got a card and a tape from Michael...it was really good to hear his voice. I also got a card from my parents and Tyler's parents. It was nice to spend the evening at home with my family!

I can Crawl normal!!

Haha...I can crawl with my belly off the ground. Today I started crawling everywhere with my belly off the ground. I still army crawl every once in awhile but I love to crawl on my hands and knees now! I'm growing up!

I'm a squirt!

I like to crawl over and through everything. I also pull myself up on everything and anything. Mom and Dad had to move everything off the bottom 2 shelves of the book case because I would pull stuff off. Today I crawled into the bottom shelf of the bookcase and thought it would be fun to play in there! :) I'm a little squirt!

Daddy is getting ready to graduate. He bought his cap and gown. Someday I am going to graduate from college and be just like him!

9 Month Pictures!!

Yesterday we went and had Makenna's 9 month pictures taken. Once again we loved them and she looked so cute. I can't decide so I am putting alot of them on here. There were like 58 of them so its so hard to choose!

9 Month Check-Up

Makenna had her 9 Month Check-Up today. No shots...YEA!!! She weighed 19 lbs. and 5 ounces. She was 27 1/2 inches long. She was in the 50th percentile for both. She was in the 95th before so she is leveling out. But her head is still in the 95th. Haha...she has a big head...she is going to be smart. Everything else looks good. I can start giving her adult food...like soft mushy carrots or cut up soft fruit. I can't give her eggs until she is 1 and NO honey, peanuts or peanutbutter till i don't know when...i just can't give her those! haha...dr.'s orders!

Halloween Costume

Yup that is me...I am going to be a monkey for Halloween. I am a real life monkey...i crawl on top of everything. Today I crawled up into my carseat and from there i crawled on top of a wicker chest. I am already swinging from trees!

Tyler and Jen

Well everyone keeps asking how Tyler and I are doing...
Tyler is going to school and working like normal. He has Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday off. He is going to start taking a LSAT study course on Thursday and Sunday nights. He will take the LSAT test in Dec. He graduates from UCO with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an Emphasis in International Trade on December 16, 2006. He watches Makenna on Tuesday and Thursday while I work. He still loves riding his motorcycle in his free time...which isn't much. He will be applying for Law school in January. So there is a chance that we will be moving next summer. We shall see.
I am working on Tuesday and Thursday at a dental office. I really enjoy my job. It really is the perfect set-up for me. I don't work far from home so I can come home for lunch. That gives me a little time with Kenna and Tyler. The rest of the week I try and keep up with the house chores and errands. Makenna and I like to play and read books.
Tyler and I both have brothers on missions. Tyler's brother Dallin is in Spain. My brother is in Canada. You can check out pictures of Mike on mjtcanada.blogspot.com. My dad is doing really well. He is back to work full-time and doing pretty much is normal stuff. Both are moms are really busy keeping up with the kids left at home.

My Kid Eats the Wierdest Things!!

So my kid...she is a nut...She loves to eat carpet. No...not sucking on the carpet...she pulls out the strings and eats them. We have some scrap carpet that we use as rugs in the kitchen. She keeps finding carpet strings...no matter how much I vaccumm...and eats them. What a wierdo!!
But she also has learned to pull herself up on everything. Tyler walked in yesterday to get her out of her crib from her nap and she was standing up hanging onto the edge of the crib. Today she has been climbing all over me and pushing herself up against everything she can!

My Growing Girl!

Well Makenna is weighing about 19 pounds right now. She is really tall too. She is crawling everywhere. She does an army crawl...she just can't get enough strength to lift up her belly. Its really funny. She is really fast too. She learned how to pull herself up yesterday. I was sitting in a chair at the table and she crawled over and pulled herself up on the side of the chair. She is also very afraid of the vaccum. I turned it on and she about jumped out of her skin. She was so scared. So I had to hold her while I vaccumed and she held on to me so tight. She is one funny girl.
