The Zoo Again!

This is an awesome picture of an owl! It was dark in the this barn and I got this picture of the owl!

I thought that this was cute. The little turtle fell asleep on the snake! Makenna loved looking at the snakes!

This bird was really weird. It was standing on one leg. I tossed some rocks near it to see if it would move but it wouldn't. I guess its other leg was stuck underneath but it would only stand on one. haha.

My friend Stephanie invited Kenna and I to the zoo yesterday! Stephanie, her daughters Lauren and Haley, my friend Angie and her daughter Maylee and Kenna and I went to the zoo! It was a pretty nice day and no one was there!

Makenna's friend Haley had a princess party today for her 3rd birthday. All the girls were supposed to dress up like princesses. They all looked so cute! It was a lot of fun. They got pizza, cake, goodie bags, they got decorate crowns and also got to make food necklaces. Kenna was a little bummed that she wasn't getting presents so she started to open one of Haley's - sorry Haley!

Today Kenna and I went to Pump-It Up! Pump-It Up is a playground of inflatable toys. They had bouncers and slides. We went with my friend Krystal and her 2 kids, Ry Ry and Gwen and my friend Angie and her daughter Maylee. The girls seemed to have a fun time. It was hard for them to climb to the top of the slide so I go to go down the slide to. It was pretty fun. Then afterwards Angie and I took the girls to McDonalds for happy meals. All in all...it was a good day!

Valentine's Day!

First of all... Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Haha... This Valentine's Day had the best of intentions, but it didn't turn out the way we planned. Tyler and I have saved up some money this month so we could go out to the Cheesecake Factory for a nice Valentine's dinner. We had a babysitter and everything was good to go! Then Tuesday night came along. I got sick! I woke up Wednesday not feeling well and woke up this morning feeling 10 times worse. Jan, Tyler's mom, was supposed to watch Makenna while we went out but she is sick too. So since I was feeling crumby we cancelled our dinner plans. I spent the afternoon at the dr.'s office. I was told that I have the beginnings of strep. So I got some medicine and hopefully will start feeling better so we can go out for our Valentine's Day hur-rah another night! Tyler has also been sick for about 2 weeks and is finally starting to feel a little bit better. I hope that Makenna doesn't get sick! 

But anyway... Ty and I decided on no gifts this year since we were going out to a nice dinner.  But being the nice husband that he is... he bought me a small gift! He bought me a heart tin full of chocolate kisses and some burt bees wax chapstick - my favorite! But he didn't get a card. haha...but I got him a card and not a gift...so he said we are even!

Okay...this was hilarious and gross. We were watching the chimps and one of them went over to the wall. It was facing the wall with his back to us. He has his hand near his rear-end. We were trying to figure out what he was doing...He then proceeded to poop directly into his hand. Still wondering why he was doing this we watched what he did next. He turned around...sat down and started to eat his own poop which he had just pooped into his hand. It was so gross that we had to take a picture of the poop eating chimp :)

So today was a beautiful day here in Oklahoma. It was about 75 degrees! It was really nice. Maybe even a little hott! So my friend Krystal called and asked if Kenna and I wanted to go to the zoo. The Oklahoma City Zoo is only about 20 minutes from our house and for the month of Feb.....it is free to go on Mondays. So we took the kids and went down there to see the animals. The girls seemed to have a good time looking at all the animals. Little Ry Ry just hung out and went along for the ride. It was a good time! Tomorrow we are back to cold weather!
