New Words!

Makenna has started saying a few new words:
Shoe, Pretty, Stop and Go!
She also has a new phrase:
"Where's Mommy?"....That really drives Tyler nuts :)! Everytime I leave the room Kenna screams Mommy and then keeps asking him, "Where's Mommy?"

Nebraska fan!

Haha....Makenna found Josh's hat and put it on! Josh and Katie are big Husker fans!! It's a little funny seeing how they live here in the Oklahoma Boomer Sooner state! So Katie had to get a picture. Makenna has gone to the dark side....haha!

Price Check!

We were over at my friend Katie's house and Makenna found the cash register! We turned around and she was talking into the microphone. I could not believe she knew what to do! What a smarty pants! It was so funny!

My Smarty-Pants!

Tyler finished his first semester of his MBA with 2 A's! Good job. He started his second semester and has already had a test in both of his classes! He got a 95 on both tests! Awesome Job Ty!

My little girl is growing up!

Today Makenna had her 18 month check up! She is, once again, a tall skinny girl with a big head. The dr. says she looks great. She also told us that we should start taking away Makenna's pacifier. She told us to start limiting her time with it and then stop giving it to her altogether. Anyways...Makenna looks great and is all good and healthy!

Sparklers!

At first Makenna was a little starlted by the sparklers! But then she loved them....well only for like 3 minutes and then she was more interested in picking up the rocks off the ground :)!

July 4th!

For the 4th of July we went over to Tyler's parents home! His parents were gone at the lake! We had a BBQ with Tyler's sister Daniella and her husband Steve and few of their friends. We enjoyed some good grub and then swam for awhile. Then a little bit later Steve's sister came over with their little boy Luke. Tyler and I both got sunburned....Kenna didn't though! We then came home and did sparklers and put Kenna to bed!!!

Makenna and Luke had fun playing together! They are only a couple of weeks apart in age. Luke is related to Steve and Danielle. He is Steve's nephew!

Makenna saw mommy laying out in the sun and she decided to do the same! Don't worry...she was protected with tons of sunscreen!

On Wednesday last week this is what her eyed looked like! Now it is pretty much all gone. There is still a little bit of coloring but most of it is gone.
